Massimo Barbolini
Massimo Barbolini is an Italian volleyball coach and one of the most successful women volleyball coaches on the planet with many titles.
Massimo won the 2007 and 2009 Women’s European Volleyball Championship with Italy. Moreover, he won gold in the 2007 and 2011 FIVB Volleyball World Cup with the Italian women’s national team.
Among his successes also counts fifth place in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. In 2016, he was in charge of Pomi Casalmaggiore, with whom he won his third European Champions League.
Also, he guided Eczacibasi Istanbul in 2016 to triumph in the most prestigious club world competition, the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship. During his career, he acquired astonishing 29 titles in national and international competitions.
