In the last round of the World Olympic Qualifier, Canada defeated China by 3-2 and then watched Poland beat Australia in straight sets, giving Canada the last remaining Olympic ticket from this tournament!

This match had no importance for Poland, so the head coach Stephane Antiga once again decided to put most of the reserve players into the starting lineup. Still, the boys in red and white jerseys were well motivated and they scored a convincing win over Australia in just three sets.

At the same time, Volleyroos failed to seize a spot at the Olympics, as they needed a win in this match to get a ticket for Rio.
