Taubaté officially sign Vissotto, Lucão, and Conte! And that’s not all…

In addition to renewing the contracts with Lucarelli, Thales, and Otávio, EMS Taubaté Funvic did the same with the setter and also a captain Raphael Oliveira „Rapha“.

Now, when it comes to newcomers, the São Paulo team made several BIG transfers official! All these players were mentioned in Brazilian media as Taubaté reinforcements in the last month or so. Recall that Argentine setter Nicolás Uriarte was the first to pen his deal with the club.

One-time FIVB World Championship winner and two-time FIVB World League gold medalist Leandro Vissotto has officially replaced Wallace Souza who did not renew with Taubaté. He came from Vôlei Renata (Campinas).

Sesi-SP duo, both 2016 Rio Olympics winners, Lucas Saatkamp „Lucão“ and Douglas Souza followed  Vissotto’s footsteps as well as Argentine star Facundo Conte (Shanghai), Robson Gomes „Robinho“ (Sporting CP, Portugal), Aboubacar Neto „Abouba“ (Lebes Canoas), Aldren Brand (Apan/Esferatur/Blumenau, Division 2), Renan Michelucci (Botafogo Futebol e Regatas, Division 2), and Luis Fernando Venceslau (Gioiella Micromilk Gioia del Colle, Italy, Division 2).

As for departures, in addition to Serbian Ivović, Madalóz, and Argentine Solé who left Taubaté earlier, their backup libero Matheus Oliveira has just joined Division 2 side São José Vôlei.
