The Volleyball Hall of Fame has officially revealed its Class of 2025, recognizing a remarkable group of athletes, coaches, and contributors who have left an enduring mark on the sport. The Induction Celebration is set for tomorrow, Saturday, October 18, 2025, and will honor these individuals for their outstanding achievements and lifelong dedication to volleyball.
This year’s ceremony will feature special video presentations highlighting each inductee’s career, along with remarks from the honorees and award recipients. The event will celebrate excellence across every aspect of the game — from indoor and beach volleyball to coaching, refereeing, and ParaVolley.
The Class of 2025 inductees are:
- Dimitar Karov (Bulgaria) – Male Indoor Player
- Ivan Miljkovic (Serbia) – Male Indoor Player
- Rosa Garcia Rivas (Peru) – Female Indoor Player
- Francesca Piccinini (Italy) – Female Indoor Player
- Laura Ludwig (Germany) – Female Beach Player
- Kent Steffes (USA) – Male Beach Player
- Jürgen Wagner (Germany) – Coach
- Barry Couzner (Australia) – ParaVolley
- Guillermo “Willy” Paredes (Argentina) – Referee
Alongside the inductees, the IVHF Special Awards will honor individuals and organizations whose contributions have advanced the sport beyond the court:
- Joop Alberda – Mintonette Medallion of Merit
- Professional Association of Volleyball Officials (PAVO) – Court of Honor Award
- Peter Diamond – Mayoral Award of Excellence
- Paul Sunderland – Award for Media Excellence
- Elegant Affairs – William G. Morgan Award
As volleyball’s highest honor, induction into the International Volleyball Hall of Fame recognizes exceptional achievement and contribution to the sport. After the 2025 Ceremony, the IVHF will have inducted 185 Players, Coaches, Referees, and Leaders from 27 countries.
