The Korean Volleyball Federation announces results and the final selection in the tryout (Draft) for the women's season of the V-League 2021/2022.

2021-2022 V-League Season, Women's Foreign Players List:

  • Pepper Savings Bank - Elizabet Inneh Varga (HUN)
  • Hyundai Engineering & Construction Hillstate - Yaasmeen Bedart (USA)
  • Korea Gingseng Corporation Pro Volleyball Club - Jelena Mladjenovic (BiH)
  • Heungkuk Life Insurance Pink Spiders - Katherine Bell (USA)
  • Korea Expressway Corporation Hi-Pass - Kelsie Payne (USA)
  • Industrial Bank of Korea Altos - Rebecca Latham (USA)
  • GS Caltex Seoul Kixx - Laetitia Moma Bassoko (Cameroon)

In this difficult time regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and the difficulties in sports management and budgeting, although the Korean League offers quality, attractiveness and challenge, we must also mention very affirmative terms of the contract for the selected players.

  • The contract period is from August 2021 to March 2022, with the option to continue until April.
  • For the first year, the contracted salary amount is $ 200,000, and for the second year (Contract renew) the salary amount will increase to $ 300,000.  Players are solely responsible for tax liabilities.

Bonuses for match victories are also applicable, as well as bonuses for champions and runners-up.

It was announced earlier that the Pepper Savings Bank will join the women's volleyball league for the first time in 10 years.

This is the first expansion of the women's volleyball league since 2011, when the sixth club was founded by the Korean Industrial Bank (IBK).

TUR W: Thai star Ajcharaporn continues career in Turkey

Re: @Nobody Cares She's 26 and her dream to come play in Europe stopped in a 12-placed team??? Ajcharaporn could have had many other better choices, even to play in a European Cup in a Romanian team. Her agency is so incompetent! Now she'll play against relegation :( So sad!
