MINT Vero Volley Monza announced the signing of USA national team middle blocker Taylor Averill for the upcoming 2024/2025 season. Averill, born on March 5, 1992, in Portland, Oregon, returns to the Italian league after previous stints with Padova and Milano.

Averill’s professional journey includes seasons with Pallavolo Padova, Powervolley Milano, Chaumont in France, AS Cannes, and AZS Olsztyn and Projekt Warszawa in Poland. Notably, he won the French Championship in 2020/21 and the CEV Challenge Cup in 2023/24 with Projekt Warszawa.
Averill expressed his excitement about joining Monza, stating, “I am extremely happy to join Vero Volley next season. I was eager to return to Italy, and Monza has given me this wonderful opportunity. I can’t wait to start working with my new teammates and experience the passionate fans at the Opiquad Arena.”
