Coach changes at PSG Stal Nysa as Daniel Pliński departs after three years, and Italian Francesco Petrella takes over the reins.
PSG Stal Nysa announced a major shake-up on Wednesday morning as Daniel Pliński stepped down from his role as head coach after three years in charge. The decision, reportedly made by mutual agreement, brings an end to Pliński’s tenure.
Just hours after the announcement of Pliński’s exit, the club revealed his successor: 35-year-old Italian coach Francesco Petrella. With experience at top-tier Italian clubs such as Azimut Modena and Trentino Volley, Petrella worked as an assistant under Angelo Lorenzetti before taking on a brief solo stint in Modena during the 2023/2024 season.
