
Modena Volley strengthens its squad with the signing of experienced Argentine setter Nicolás Uriarte after Luciano De Cecco was sidelined due to recurring kidney stones. While De Cecco’s recovery timeline remains uncertain, the club has taken a precautionary step by adding Uriarte for the crucial final stretch of the 2024/25 season.
Uriarte, a 1990-born setter, has an impressive career spanning top leagues in Brazil, Poland, France, and Italy. He has won multiple championships, including league titles, national cups, and the Challenge Cup MVP with Narbonne.
Now, he arrive to Italy, ready to support De Cecco and Silvester Meijs as Modena Volley pushes for a strong season finish.
