Bulgarian outside hitter Martin Atanasov is officially the newest face of MINT Vero Volley Monza, completing the team’s outside hitters department for the upcoming 2025/26 SuperLega season.

The 28-year-old brings a wealth of international experience, having played in Turkey, Germany, France, and Russia, most recently with Galatasaray Istanbul.
“I’m very happy to join such an ambitious club like Vero Volley,” Atanasov said in his first statement as a Monza player. “The Italian SuperLega is one of the toughest championships in the world, and I can’t wait to meet my teammates and our fans in the arena.”

Before moving to Italy, Atanasov will represent Bulgaria at the 2025 Volleyball World Championship.
