Greek powerhouse Olympiacos S.F.P. officially confirmed the signing of Croatian outside hitter Marko Sedlacek, putting an end to speculation surrounding his next destination following his departure from Cuneo.

The 29-year-old attacker has signed his contract and will be part of Olympiacos’ men’s volleyball roster for the second part of the season. Standing at 2.02 meters, Sedlacek arrives in Piraeus with a strong résumé and extensive experience from Europe’s top leagues.
Sedlacek has competed at the highest level in Italy, representing clubs such as Cuneo, Padova, Cisterna, Monza, and Piacenza. He also enjoyed success in Poland with Jastrzębski, where he won the national championship and reached the CEV Champions League final in the 2023/24 season. His career also includes a stint in Türkiye with Galatasaray and a trophy-filled start at Mladost Zagreb, where he collected multiple domestic titles.
At international level, Sedlacek is a regular member of the Croatian national team. Speaking after completing the move, Sedlacek expressed his excitement about joining Olympiacos, highlighting the club’s winning mentality, passionate fan base, and high ambitions across all sports. He also acknowledged the significance of wearing the number 7 jersey and said he is eager to meet the expectations of the supporters.
