Allianz Milano appointed Guillermo Falasca as head coach following the end of Roberto Piazza’s successful seven-year tenure.

The 48-year-old Spaniard returns to the SuperLega after previous coaching roles with Cisterna Volley and Polish side Norwid Częstochowa. Falasca also enjoyed a long playing career in Italy and helped Spain win the 2007 European Championship.
As a coach, Falasca captured the 2022 CEV Challenge Cup with France’s Narbonne and led Cisterna to the Italian league playoffs.
“It is a great honor to continue this important project in Milan,” Falasca said. “I want a team that plays with energy, aggression and ambition.”
Milano executives said Falasca’s appointment signals the beginning of a new chapter as the club looks to remain competitive in both domestic and European competitions.
