Savino Del Bene Volley Scandicci announced the signing of Belgian opposite Lise Van Hecke for the 2026/27 season, marking the player’s return to Italy after four years in Japan.
Lise Van Hecke returns to Italy after spending the last four seasons in Japan, where she most recently played for Osaka Marvelous. Van Hecke enjoyed another productive campaign in 2025/26, helping her team reach the league final and finish as runners-up while ranking among the competition’s top scorers.
Italy is familiar territory for the Belgian international, who previously featured for Urbino, Piacenza, Pesaro, Cuneo and Monza. Her successful spell in Serie A included a league title, an Italian Cup, two Super Cups and a CEV Cup trophy.
Speaking after completing the move, Van Hecke said she was delighted to return to a country she considers a second home and highlighted Savino Del Bene’s recent growth and international success as key factors behind her decision.
