Taylor-Sandbothe
Regatas decided not to renew with the U.S. middle blocker Ashley Benson and hired her compatriot Taylor Sandbothe instead.
A 23-year-old Sandbothe spent the last season in France, playing for RC Cannes with whom she has won the national Cup. Ohio State graduate averaged 6.7 points and 1.3 blocks per game in the national championship in 2016/17, making better displays on away games of her team.
