A two-time Olympic champion Thaísa Daher is making big steps toward recovery from the knee surgery which she underwent in the mid-June.

The Brazilian middle blocker finally went out of the bed where she was stuck after undergoing a left knee surgery earlier this summer.

The volleyball player has begun a new phase of her rehabilitation. She started to work on strengthening her muscles in the gym. Although the return to the court is still far, Thaísa has much more positive thoughts now compared to a couple of months ago.

“I have to be optimistic. This optimism needs to come from me because staying three months without doing anything is complicated. So far, so good. I gained weight. I’m working with the 75% of the body. I was not working out with the leg that was operated, but I started now. We have already evolved. The more things I do, the happier I am. It’s hard. It shakes the whole body, it hurts, but I feel much happier to be able to work,” the member of the Turkish club Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul said.

The Brazilian and Eczacıbaşı fans pin their hopes on her physiotherapist and personal trainer, with whom she works, that they will be able to enable her to play as soon as possible.

Recall what Thaísa said on how she got injured and how Eczacıbaşı coaching staff reacted to it.

Zaytsev to join Milano in the summer? Club president: “We must carefully evaluate the pros and cons”

Re: @duh
yes when mikayhlov was injured, the young poletaev played for zenit during the russian championship the setter is grbic and the mvp is anderson. i followed zenit kazan. i know their history. what i mean is that zenit kazan can still dominate even without leon. even leon was named most of kazan MVP the club can still be a force to be reckoned with, without him.

Sirci is dreaming winning CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and put PERUGIA in WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS stage like LUBE does to attract more SPONSORSHIPS and INVESTMENT. SIRCI thought HIRING Ivan Zaytsev can bring PERUGIA, Champions League Trophy and a Ticket to World Club Championships.

Sirci don't think about that. he is dreaming of LEON so no matter what IVAN has to leave. Russell and Atanasijevis contract until 2019 so the only player he need to release is IVAN. Reply

ROU W: Alba Blaj, Stiinta Bacau and CSM Bucuresti celebrated new wins

The Romanian Volleyball Federation is continuously breaking their own rules. Against the rules, for the game Alba Blaj – Penicilina the guest was the host, the same as in the first half of the championship. This is just another bit of the perennial corruption inside FRV! Reply

Zaytsev to join Milano in the summer? Club president: “We must carefully evaluate the pros and cons”

Re: @dee jae69 what the actual fuck? You really believe Zenit Kazan can still dominate without Wilfredo Leon? Child, do you know the history of Zenit Kazan before Leon? And do you know that they were just recently thrashed by Belogorie and Petersburg? lmao

I don't get why Sirci should let Zaytsev leave. This is his chance to make Perugia
attract future players to their team. He is Italy's superstar and a true Perugian at birth.

We also have to consider the strength of reception of Russell and Leon together. Zaytsev brings insurance that if the pass can be minimum. There's Zaytsev who can receive as opposite. There's not a lot of opposites that we could consider complete as a player. Zaytsev is one of those rare breeds. Letting him go will be the greatest mistake of Perugia. Reply
