Dentil/Praia Clube beat Itambé/Minas and took advantage in the 2020/21 Brazilian Women’s Volleyball Championship final.

Praia are one win away from the title in the 2020/21 Brazilian Women’s Superliga Banco do Brasil.

The team from Uberlândia (3rd in the regular season) beat top-seed Minas (only one defeat in the season until now) in Game 1 of the playoff finals held in the bubble in Saquarama by a 3-1 (25-21, 25-12, 21-25, 25-22). Dominican opposite hitter Brayelin Martínez left the court as the top scorer of Praia, but also of the match, with 22 points. Ana Carolina Silva ‘Carol’ was outstanding in the block (7), while Michelle Pavão made 77 % reception (13 digs, 46 % excellent). American Danielle Cuttino led Minas with 18 points.

Game 2 will be played in 2 days.
