All national federations whose Women’s teams will participate in the Final Six of the 2019 FIVB Nations League have announced rosters for the tournament that will be held in Nanjing, China (July 3-7).

The biggest surprise is the roster of the hosts China. Their head coach Lang Ping decided to leave all major stars out of the list for the Finals. So, we will not watch players like Zhu Ting, Li Yingying, Zhang Changning, Zeng Chunlei and several others in Nanjing despite the fact that most of them competed in the Preliminary Round. Furthermore, there will be no Lang Ping next to China’s bench as she entrusted the leadership of the team to her assistant An Jiajie.

Somehow, this puts the USA in front of all other teams when it comes to the No.1 favorite for winning the 2019 VNL given that their head coach Karch Kiraly has selected roster that is a mix of experienced players, Olympians, players from college and those who have just finished their first professional season.

Italy will play with only one officially registered opposite hitter, while Poland will have only one libero in the squad.

Before you check out all rosters, see the schedule and timetable of the Final Six.
