The Italian Women’s Volleyball Championship semifinalists Savino Del Bene Scandicci reported that they managed to keep Serbian middle blocker Jovana Stevanović.

A 26-year-old world champion with Serbia national team (2018) Stevanović will be on the roster of Scandicci for one more season. Last season, the middle blocker scored 337 points for the Italian side, who got eliminated in the playoff semifinals to Igor Gorgonzola Novara, present CEV Champions League winners.

In the past week, Scandicci hired setter Giulia Carraro from Zanetti Bergamo (current 4x4 Italian Beach Volley Championship, Cup and Super Cup winner) and outside hitter Elena Pietrini from Club Italia Crai.

A bit earlier, they extended with the setter Ofelia Malinov and libero Enrica Merlo.

She wont miss the Olympics. She is already 4 months pregnant and will give birth early February. Enough time to recovery. Reply

FRA W: RC Cannes sign outside hitter from Texas University

Cannes' roster for next season doesn't seem to be THAT focused on young talent IMO. Don't see a difference to other clubs in this regard. Their main problem seems to be the decreasing interest of people in the club, a lack of (new) supporters to attend their home matches. Reply
