The Italian Volleyball Federation (Fipav) became the pioneer in helping clubs, players, and coaches overcome the economic crisis that occurred due to coronavirus pandemic.

The Fipav became the pioneer among national federations in relieving the financial difficulties related to the functioning of clubs, players, and coaches during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s estimated that both professional clubs and youth teams of more than 4,000 men’s and women’s clubs across the country suffered losses of almost 29 million euros (top volleyball) and over 20 million euros (basic volleyball).

Thus, Fipav will activate a series of initiatives and measures to reduce or completely cover annual registration fees for clubs, players, and coaches of all levels of volleyball worth 5 million euros.
