One of the best male volleyball opposite hitters, Maksim Mikhaylov, might embark on the first international club adventure in his career.

According to Gian Luca Pasini, the Russia National Team member Maksim Mikhaylov is on the radar of Italy’s Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza for 2021/22. The SuperLega side turned to the 2017 CEV EuroVolley MVP after failing to persuade its initial desire, Ivan Zaytsev, to join them.

The contract of Mikhaylov with Zenit-Kazan will expire at the end of the season.

RUS M: Possible "transfer bomb" - Zenit St. Petersburg wants Wilfredo Leon!?

I don’t know. I like Perugia but Leon is not coming to his full potential. If has to play another year with Travica and/or Oleh then he can better leave the club. Aleksander is already leaving the club and that is horrible for SIR but yet again if he wants to play and live in Perugia than that’s it. But if he wants te achieve bigger thing Ian live with volleyball than he should leave. Reply
