Ever since they found out that Serbian Aleksandar Atanasijević will leave the club at the end of the season, Sir Safety Conad Perugia fans started to wonder who will be his replacement. They got the answer through the media in the country – it will likely be Matt Anderson.

Highly awarded US National Team member, who practically won everything on the international scene in his club career is to return to play in the SuperLega. The 33-year-old Anderson has been inactive for nearly a year after leaving Leo Shoes Modena. He embarked on the Chinese adventure but the season there, which he was supposed to spend in Shanghai, never started.

In the last couple of years, Anderson switched from an outside hitter’s position to the opposite hitter’s position.
