The CVA has issued an official statement regarding the postponement of the Men’s Volleyball Championship. It decided to suspend all volleyball tournaments and events in the country because of a coronavirus epidemic that caused hundreds of death cases and thousands of people infected.
“In view of the serious situation of the current epidemic situation of the new coronavirus infection, in order to guarantee the physical health of all the athletes, coaches, referees, staff, fans, and media personnel who participate in the training, the Chinese Volleyball Association decided to delay all events scheduled for February and March, including the Chinese Men’s Volleyball Super League, the senior women’s national team volleyball training, and training of youth national teams, as well as all mass volleyball and other activities,“ the CVA published.
