LBY M: Cuban legend Marshall joins multiple champions of Libya

Cuban male volleyball legend Leonel Marshall will continue his more than a two-decade-long professional career in Africa.

 

After the season in Turkey’s Bursa B.şehir Bld, a 41-year-old world volleyball legend Leonel Marshall decided to continue his 23-year-long professional career on the African continent.

A former Cuba National Team (2001 World Grand Champions Cup and NORCECA Championship winner) member and one-time FIVB World League Best Server will play the rest of 2020/21 in Libyan Asswehly. The Misurata-based club is a powerhouse in its country with eight national titles and three national cups in its collection.

I don’t know. I like Perugia but Leon is not coming to his full potential. If has to play another year with Travica and/or Oleh then he can better leave the club. Aleksander is already leaving the club and that is horrible for SIR but yet again if he wants to play and live in Perugia than that’s it. But if he wants te achieve bigger thing Ian live with volleyball than he should leave. Reply
