Vojvodina NS seme Novi Sad didn’t let go of the throne in the Serbian Men’s Volleyball Championship.

The top-seed Vojvodina NS seme Novi Sad won the title of the men’s club champions of Serbia for the 5th time in a row. They defeated surprising finalists Partizan Soccer Belgrade (6th-seed) in an exciting match (Game 4) of the 2020/21 Banka Poštanska štedionica Superliga playoff finals (3-2: 22-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-17, 16-14) in nearly 2 and a half hours of a play and won the series by a 3-1.

Pavle Perić top-scored Vojvodina with 19 points today, while Stevan Simić made 5 blocks. Nemanja Mašulović had 85 % attack (11/13). Bosnian Milan Pepić stood out on the losing side with 29 points, including 4 blocks.

Vojvodina claimed the 18th national title (counting leagues of all countries whose part Serbia was) and tied with Crvena zvezda Belgrade in the all-time list of title winners, counting the period of Serbia’s independence (since 2007). Both have 6 titles.

TUR W: Thai star Ajcharaporn continues career in Turkey

Re: @Nobody Cares She's 26 and her dream to come play in Europe stopped in a 12-placed team??? Ajcharaporn could have had many other better choices, even to play in a European Cup in a Romanian team. Her agency is so incompetent! Now she'll play against relegation :( So sad!
