Volleyball Federation of Russia and Qatar Volleyball Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding

Volleyball Federation of Russia and Qatar Volleyball Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding.


The purpose of the agreement is to exchange experiences, develop and popularize volleyball and beach volleyball in the two countries. President of the Volleyball Federation of Russia Mr Stanislav Shevchenko signed the agreement with his Qatari counterpart Mr Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari during his visit to Russia.

Mr. Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari, president of the Qatar Volleyball Association said, "I am pleased to sign Memorandum of Understanding with the Volleyball Federation of Russia and I hope that this step will bring an excellent opportunity and mutual benefit to both countries. Qatar Volleyball Association is pleased to further develop our cooperation with one of the strongest and internationally recognized federations.”

The new cooperation in various fields and initiative is expected to give a new strong boost to the further development of volleyball in Qatar.

“This signing will be a big step forward and will strengthen sports ties between Qatar and Russia. Our common goal is to develop and popularize sports, volleyball and a healthy lifestyle,” stressed Stanislav Shevchenko, president of the Volleyball Federation of Russia.

Excited to see Dayeong venture out to an overseas league to grow as a player! Since the Greece league is weaker than the Korean league, it'll be an opportunity to see if she can step up to the plate to lead her team as a setter, while also showing herself to other leagues for future seasons.

The twins were indefinitely suspended after the accusations made towards them about what they did back during elementary school, but they're currently in the midst of a court investigation process to prove that most of the accusations made against them were false (they acknowledged some of them and had apologized immediately & publicly for those).
Once that is resolved - hopefully soon, she should have no issues going abroad.

Heard rumours that PAOK is also looking for a foreign OH, and is looking at signing her twin sister Jaeyeong together with her as a package.
