PGE Skra Bełchatów dominated GKS Katowice on the road in Round 15 of the 2019/20 Polish Men’s Volleyball Championship regular season.

Led by Serbian Dušan Petković (16 points) and Jakub Kochanowski (5 kill blocks), Skra defeated Katowice in 3 very short sets: 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-17) in Round 15 of the 2019/20 PlusLiga regular season. Thanks to a surprising Saturday’s defeat of Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle against MKS Będzin (3-1), the Bełchatów side (3rd placed in the charts, 5 wins in a row) reduced a backlog in relation to them, but also to the leaders VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa, at only 2 points.

The powerhouse Trefl Gdańsk is sinking deeper and deeper as they suffered the 5th successive defeat. After losing to Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom by a 3-2, Trefl are only 3 places above the playoff zone.

CHN M: Chinese federation gives in to pressure, male foreigners will play Super League

Great news on the Men's Super League. The Women's you referred to in the news is actually not the same with the Super League though. It is a separate tournament roughly called National Championships where the provincial teams compete for the top honour. Women's Super League won't start until much later. If foreign players are allowed in Men's tournament, then it only.makes sense the same would apply to the women's. Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed! Reply
