An experienced American libero Dustin Watten will stay at the Polish men’s volleyball top division side GKS Katowice despite the misunderstanding the two parties had right after the premature ending of the season.

The premature ending of the season in Poland due to the coronavirus pandemic brought an unpleasant surprise to the US National Team member Watten. An experienced libero, a one-time FIVB World Cup and NORCECA Championship winner, had his contract with Katowice canceled in a very rude way.

However, with the help of his manager, Watten reached an agreement on the settlement of the contractual obligations with the PlusLiga side for the 2019/20 season and signed the new deal for 2020/21.
