Since the coronavirus is still out there, Russian Business Gazeta made a research on how these foreign players will reach the Russian country.

The best situation with foreign players is in Zenit St. Petersburg. The Cuban born player with Russian passport Oreol Camejo arrived in mid-July. He drove through the Belarusian border since this country didn’t close borders with Russia during this pandemic.

The middle blocker Dmitry Pashitskyy, Italian physical fitness coach Claudio Rifelli and Polish physiotherapist Pavel Baryla arrived in the northern capital on July 14 via Finland. All had valid visas. Next time Pashitskyy will probably no longer need it – he should soon receive the Russian passport.

For example, the foreign players of Zenit Kazan and the Ural Ufa are still without visas. As soon as the players have passports and certificates with negative test results for COVID-19, it will be possible to think about how to reach Russia.

Lokomotiv Novosibirsk foreign players (Luburic and Ivovic) and coaches (Konstantinov and Shopov) are planning to join this team these days.

The Serbian middle blocker Petar Krsmanovic will fly from Turkey to Moscow, but the opposite Ivan Zaytsev will fly to Russia from London. He is expected at the team’s location in the middle of the next week.

Foreign players of Nizhny Novgorod Dmitry Viyetsky and Denis Petrov are currently practicing with the national team. Since they are finishing their national team campaign, the club is expecting them in the coming days.

Dynamo has the most unusual situation – the foreign players do not need to fly to Moscow because the team has started practicing in Turkey.

The Bulgarian opposite Tsvetan Sokolov will join Dynamo on August 9, while Sam Deroo will be there a day later. The Finnish liber Lauri Kerminen will arrive when all paperwork is done.

This is how coronavirus affecting volleyball players right now. We will see what it’s going to be in the future.
