RIO 2016 W: Brazil destroyed Korea in three sets

Hosts and defending champions Brazil once again thrilled a sellout crowd at the Maracanazinho, as thet destroyed Korea 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 27-25) to close the fourth round of women's volleyball pool play at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Both Brazil and South Korea have qualified to the quarterfinals at Rio 2016, together with Russia from their own pool and USASerbia,The Netherlands and China from Pool A.

Natalia Zilio Pereira for one more time topped the scoring for Brazil with 16 points – Sheilla Castro adding another 12. With captain Yeon-Koung Kim sitting it out in the third set, Hyo-Jin Yang emerged Korea’s best scorer with 9 points.
