Dennis & Vermiglio
Currently fifth-ranked team in one of two Serie A2 pools officially secured signings of two giants of international volleyball – Cuban-born Ángel Dennis and Valerio Vermiglio!
One-time FIVB World League and Italian Men’s Championship winner and two-time CEV Cup gold medalist Dennis came to Santa Croce from Italian top division team Revivre Milano after his 3-month contract expired. A 39-year old player will return to opposite position in his new team after playing as receiver in Milano.
Two–time CEV European Championship and CEV Champions League winner Vermiglio recently terminated contract with Argentinian UPCN San Juan. A 40-year-old setter also refused offer from another Serie A2 team, Caloni Agnelli Bergamo.
