The head coach of the Philippine team Roger Gorayeb and its spokesman emphasized the strange appearance and powerful physique of an Indonesian Aprilia Santini Manganang.

It is yet unknown if the SEA Games organizers will grant the Philippine request. Until then, Manganang will participate in the volleyball tournament.

She was already the best Indonesian player in the opening win of her national team against the Philippines.
