In a dramatic 3rd match clash against Russia, Dutch ladies recovered from 0-2 in sets to win their first bronze medal in the World Grand Prix, second medal overall in the history of the competition after claiming gold in 2007 in China 3-2 (18-25, 23-25, 30-28, 25-21, 15-9).
Lonneke Slöetjes topped Dutch scorers with 24 points. Nataliya Goncharova had 29 in Russia.
