Resovia
The clash supposed to be derby of 13th week of Plusliga, but title holders proved too strong for the visitors and the Polish silver medalists.
Both teams lacked important players. Resovia played without Bartosz Kurek while Trefl performed without Mateusz Mika and German Sebastian Schwarz. The absence of two primary receivers/outside hitters from Trefl turned out to be bigger problem than the absence of the basic opposite of Resovia.
With this win Resovia skipped Trefl in the standings and took over third place.
American Thomas Jaeschke and Frenchman Julien Lyneel scored 12 points each in winning team. Murphy Troy topped Trefl’s scorers with 19.
