The farewell game were organized by Dinamo Kazan, who faced Dinamo Moscow, also the former team of Ekaterina Gamova.
There were a lot of emotions, even Gamova cried during her speech in front of club’s officials and fans. But she was not the only one that couldn’t stop the tears…It was difficult moment for her and the fans of Dinamo.

“I felt great after seeing my jersey rising at the top of the hall. I have no words to describe it. I didn’t expect that. Fans, thank you very much it was always nice to play in front of you. There probably will be the autobiographical book. I don’t know the date of releasing. There are people that helping me create this book…What can I say about my career? Everything went perfectly. I am extremely grateful to God for giving me an opportunity to make such a career. I’m glad that my career ended here in Kazan” says Gamova after the match.
Recall that Dinamo Moscow won the game 2-1 (25-13, 25-18, 24-26).
