Serbian middle blocker sustained injury of her right leg in the first set of Game 1 of the Turkish Women’s volleyball Vestel Venüs Sultanlar Ligi playoff quarter-finals against Beşiktaş. She was carried off the court and did not return afterwards.
Some media reported that Rašić’s injury is so serious that she will miss the rest of the season. But, she will not, as she stated for our website.
“I have sustained a light torn of a calf muscle, but I am sure that I will get the best possible therapies from the club and return to the court as soon as possible,” VakıfBank player said.
Until she begins with therapies, Rašić will walk on crutches and wear a cast around the calf.
