The second season of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour began with the tournament in Doha, Qatar. Raisa Schoon & Katja Stam from the Netherlands in the women’s competition and Anders Mol & Christian Sørum of Norway in the men’s competition won the first Elite16 event in 2023.
In the final, Raisa Schoon and Katja Stam defeated the Swiss pair Nina Brunner and Tanja Hüberli in three sets (20-22, 21-14, 15-11). Australians Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho took bronze.
In the men’s final, reigning Olympic and world champions Anders Mol and Christian Sørum defeated rising stars from Sweden, David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig 2-0 (21-19, 21-19). Italian veterans Alex Ranghieri and Adrian Carambula completed the podium.
