With Tiffany Abreu’s powerful performance, Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde beat Gerdau Minas and took second place in the 2022–23 Brazilian Women’s Volleyball Championship.

Osasco defeated Minas by 3 sets to 1 on the road in the derby of the 15th round of the 2022–23 1XBET Superliga Feminina. The partials were 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, and 29-27.

The highlight of the match was Osasco’s opposite, Tiffany Abreu, who scored 36 points and was a decisive factor in the fourth set, which Minas failed to close despite having 17-13. With the victory, the São Paulo state side assumed the vice leadership of the Superliga, having six points less than Dentil Praia Clube. The titleholders from Belo Horizonte dropped to third place, with three points fewer than their opponents today. Fabiana Claudino also had an important role in Osasco’s win, making as many as seven blocks. Kisy Nascimento topped Minas with 16 points, while Thaísa Daher set up five blocks.
