Taryn Brasher and Kristen Nuss achieved their season goal in style, winning gold on home soil at the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Newport Beach Elite. The victory marked their third gold medal of 2025 and came in front of an enthusiastic California crowd.
The final turned into an all-U.S. showdown, with Brasher and Nuss defeating Julia Donlin and Lexy Denaburg in straight sets (21-15, 21-14).
Brazilian stars Eduarda “Duda” Lisboa and Ana Patrícia Ramos, the reigning Olympic champions, claimed bronze after a decisive 21-11, 21-12 win over Americans Terese Cannon and Megan Kraft.
