
CSO Voluntari began the new volleyball season with another impressive win, lifting the Romanian Women’s Volleyball Supercup after defeating CSM Volei Alba Blaj 3–1 (26–24, 12–25, 25–21, 25–18) on Saturday night at Alba Blaj Arena.
The match was intense from start to finish, featuring two teams that have dominated the domestic scene in recent years. Nicolae van Voose led Voluntari with 17 points, while Sabrina Starks and Nikola Radosova each contributed 10. For Alba Blaj, Vittoria Piani was unstoppable with 25 points, supported by Ariana Pîrv (14) and Jelena Delic (11).
With this victory, CSO Voluntari secured their second consecutive Supercup title, matching Alba Blaj’s record of two trophies. It was also the third straight year the two sides met in the final, underlining their growing rivalry at the top of Romanian women’s volleyball.
