Martins Plavins and Kristians Fokerots claimed Elite tournament title on the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour after defeating France’s Remi Daubas and Calvin Aye in the men’s final.

The Latvian pair secured the championship with a 21-17, 21-11 victory, completing an unbeaten run through the tournament with seven consecutive wins while dropping just one set.
Earlier in the day, the Latvians edged Austria’s Timo Hammarberg and Tim Berger 21-16, 28-26 to reach the final.
Daubas and Aye settled for silver after defeating fellow Frenchmen Teo Rotar and Arnaud Gauthier-Rat in the semifinals. Rotar and Gauthier-Rat recovered to earn bronze, rallying past Hammarberg and Berger 18-21, 21-16, 15-13 in the third-place match.
