
Roberto Russo, middle blocker for Sir Susa Vim Perugia, has successfully undergone microdiscectomy surgery to solve disc hernia problem. The procedure took place on Thursday, February 27, at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio in Milan, performed by Dr. Giuseppe Barone and Dr. Fabrizio Giudici.
With the surgery a success, Russo is now focused on recovery. He will begin a carefully planned rehabilitation program led by physiotherapists Giulio Leonardi and Francesco Zappelli, osteopath Franco Rapalli, and athletic trainer Sebastian Carotti. His return to the court will depend on his progress in the coming weeks.
