This will be the opening match of F6 in China and it’s scheduled for 15:00 by local time (09:00 CET).

Turkish attacker and new member of Galatasaray, Hande Baladin talked to WorldofVolley before the start of the final tournament.

To reach the Final Six you played five weeks without break. What do you think about this system, was it hard?

“Yes, it was so difficult to play without break and especially after long travels it was hard to recover” explained Hande who until now scored 107 points for Turkey in VNL.

Which match was the hardest for you until now?

“All the matches that ended with 3-2 were so hard – against USA, Russia, Serbia and The Netherlands. These games were tough games both physically and mentally but we’ve enjoyed them a lot.”

Your opponents in Pool B will be USA and Serbia. What do you think about them?

“Our opponents at F6 are all very good teams. They are well organized and each team has a strong side on their own.

What do you expect at this tournament?

“We want to win a medal by playing good volleyball.”

What do you think, who will fight for the gold medal?

“Of course, every team came here to win the gold medal and every team will fight for it,” said the 20-year-old Turkish attacker.
