Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico were the team that made a huge surprise by beating the USA in four sets 3-1 (23-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-21). Even though the U.S. team was ahead after the first set, the Puerto Rican boys had enough power to make a comeback and to win the game.
Canada didn’t have that many troubles against the Dominican Republic. The Canadian team defeated the rival in straight sets 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-16) to record the second win in this tournament,
In the last game of the round, Mexico beat Chile in three sets as well (25-22, 25-18, 25-19). They will play against Cuba for the first place in Pool A.
