CRO: HAOK Mladost on the top of the super league in Croatia

During the weekend, the matches of the sixth round of the volleyball Super League for women and the seventh round for men were played. The competition standing of Super league in both competitions are led by Zagreb HAOK Mladost, but only a point separates them from the runners-up, which announces the excitement in the continuation of the competition.

The volleyball players of HAOK Mladost won first place with a total of 16 points, beating HAOK Rijeka CO 3: 0 (25:13, 25:16, 25:17). The ŽOK Osijek team lost on the home floor from OK Kaštela 0: 3 (19:25, 24:26, 22:25), and with the same result 3: 0, the volleyball players of OK Marina Kaštela celebrated over the ŽOK Dubrovnik team (25:18, 25:13, 25:21).

In a tense and even match between OK Olimpik and OK Poreč, the Istrians celebrated with the result 2: 3 (25:20, 23:25, 25:17, 24:26, 9:15). The volleyball players of OK Dinamo lost from ŽOK Enna Vukovar 0: 3 (17:25, 19:25, 20:25), while in the Split derby the team of OK Brda was better than OK Split with the result 3: 1 (25: 20,25: 20 , 21: 25,25: 23).

 The second place on the competition standing of Super league is occupied by OK Kaštela with 15 points, the same as OK Marina Kaštela in the third place. ŽOK Enna Vukovar is fourth with 11 points, while OK Dinamo is fifth and ŽOK Osijek is sixth with six points each. It is followed by OK Split with 7 points, OK Brda with 6 points, ŽOK Dubrovnik with 3 and HAOK Rijeka CO with 2 points. The first points were scored by OK Poreč (2 points) and the last-placed by OK Olimpik (1 point).

The next round is scheduled for November 7th and 8th. The Zagreb match between HAOK Mladost and OK Dinamo and the Kaštela derby between OK Kaštela and OK Marina Kaštela await us. ŽOK Enna Vukovar will host OK Brda, OK Poreč will play with HAOK Rijeka CO, and ŽOK Dubrovnik with OK Olimpik.

In the seventh round of the Volleyball Super League, the seniors of HAOK Mladost won away against OK Split 0: 3 (31:33, 23:25, 21:25) and they confirmed first place in the competition standing. The MOK Mursa-Osijek team easily celebrated over OK Zadar 3: 0 (25: 9,25: 17, 25:13). The volleyball players of OK Rovinj did not come to the match with MOK Marsonia, which automatically registered a 3-0 victory. OKM Centrometal celebrated after a tense match over MOK Rijeka with the result 3: 2 (25:23, 22:25, 20:25, 25:23, 15:11). The match between OK Ribola Kaštela and OK Sisak has been postponed, and OK Kitro Varaždin has paused this round according to the schedule.

HAOK Mladost leads on the competition standing of Super league with 18 points, followed by MOK Mursa-Osijek with only one pointless. MOK Rijeka is in third place with 14 points, while OK Kitro Varaždin is in fourth place with 10 points, as is OK Ribola Kaštela in fifth place. OK Split is in sixth place with 9 points, OKM Centrometal has one point less in seventh place while OK Sisak is in eighth place with 5 points. OK Zadar is in eighth place with 4 points, MOK Marsonia is in ninth place with 3 points, while OK Rovinj is last with 1 point.

The eighth round will be played on November 7th and 8th. HAOK Mladost will host OK Kitro Varaždin, OK Rovinj will host the OKM Centrometal team, and OK Zadar will host the MOK Marsonie volleyball team. OK Sisak will play against MOK Mursa-Osijek, while OK Split will host OK Ribola Kaštela. MOK Rijeka will pause.
