Player of Olympiacos requested last summer to be released from national team duties, so he could fully recover from the injury, but now he is ready to once again play for Bulgaria.
That would certainly be great news for coach Camillo Placi who also got a confirmation of Andrey Zhekov that he will join national team for the qualification tournament.
Bulgaria will face Czech Republic, Netherlands and Cyprus from 3rd to 5th January in a battle for World Championship.
