Some 2’000 fans are expected to find their way to the local sports hall in Constanta as Italy’s multiple champions and their superstar Francesca Piccinini travel to Romania’s seaside. As they also lost their opening matches to Vakifbank and Azerrail, the Italians are evidently looking forward to seizing their first points in the competition.
“We improved the quality of our play last week in Istanbul” says local head coach Darko Zakoc “and I am confident we will get a good result from this game”.
