Russia – Netherlands 3-1 (19-25, 25-13, 27-25, 25-16)
Netherlands entered this game in very high spirits and confidence. After what was an explosive start and the 1-0 lead, Russia replied with force. Third set had the potential to be the key one and indeed it was. After a long fight, Russia cracked the deadlock and won by 27-25. Dutch girls couldn’t find anymore strength after that and it was all over.
