Vietnam pulled off a stunning comeback to beat defending champions Thailand 3-2 and claim their first-ever SEA V League crown.

Roared on by a sold-out home crowd, Vietnam rallied from two sets down (17-25, 24-26) to win the next two (25-17, 25-22) and clinch the tiebreak 16-14, with Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen smashing home the decisive point. She finished with a remarkable 45 points.
The victory ends Vietnam’s long wait for a win over their fierce rivals and signals a new era in Southeast Asian volleyball. Earlier, the Philippines took bronze with a 3-0 win over Indonesia.
