This season, there was a lot of controversy in Iranian Men’s Super League. Some teams were disqualified during the season, while some got pardoned. Now, similar happens in Women’s Super League since Parseh Tehran was forced to leave the competition.
Iranian Volleyball Federation announced that Parseh was excluded from the Women’s Super League because they did not fulfill their financial obligations. According to the regulations, all members of Parseh, including players and coaching staff, are free to join other teams. Of course, all the points that Parseh gained before disqualification are nullified and the team is omitted from the standings.
This means that the second part of the season in the Iranian Women’s Super League will be continued with only six participants: Sarmayeh Tehran, Saipa Tehran, Daneshgah Azad, Shahrdari Tabriz, Pars Shiraz and Zob Ahan Esfahan.
