The experienced French receiver Guillaume Samica spent most of the time during the match in the box for the substitutes, playing briefly in the first and the second set.
While Samica was giving a post-game statement to „Strefa siatkówki“, Jakub Bednaruk, his coach in Politechnika, interrupted the interview asking him to explain his eye injury.
„I hurt my eye because our coach jumped to block and hit me in the eye in the last training and, therefore, I can not receive well. It’s Bednaruk’s fault (laughter)“, Samica said.
