The 2018/19 Brazilian Women’s Volleyball Championship playoff semifinalists, Osasco Voleibol Clube/Audax, returned Serbian player Ana Bjelica to the club after two years.

Five-time Brazilian titleholders Osasco announced signing a contract with Serbia national team member Bjelica for the 2019/20 season.

A 27-year-old opposite hitter has already worn the jersey of Osasco one season – the 2016/17 – and became the league’s runners-up with the team. That year, Bjelica won the gold medal in the CEV European Championship with Serbia. In 2018, she made an even bigger success with her country’s national team – the title in the FIVB World Championship. Last season, Bjelica played in Le Cannet (former Volero Zürich), France.

In the past couple of weeks, Osasco also engaged middle blockers Adriani Vilvert (Vôlei Balneário Camboriú) and prospect Karyna Malachias (Esporte Clube Pinheiros), setters Amanda Sehn (Esporte Clube Pinheiros) and Priscila Heldes “Pri Heldes“ (Vôlei Balneário Camboriú), and outside hitters Fernanda Tomé (São Cristóvão Saudé São Caetano) and Vanessa Janke (Sesi Vôlei Bauru).

Osasco signed several more players earlier.
